Joelle Kluck
Joelle, an Ohio native, comes to Blood Cancer United with a long and established history working with non-profits. She most recently worked for Scouting America, and is thrilled for her third SVOY campaign!

Mira Patel
Mira is a graduate of Mercer University where she participated in multiple fundraising and philanthropic causes. Mira started with Blood Cancer United in 2024 and managed two of our 2026 mission pillar winning teams!

Sarah Galbraith
Sarah's passion for Blood Cancer United stems from the survival of her husband. The Mission remains at the center of her work, and she was thrilled to lead our 2026 runners-up to raise more than $350,000!

Caroline Rossiter
Caroline joined Blood Cancer United in 2026 after spending several years with the Children’s Miracle Network. She is excited to bring her experience to work closely with our Team Members!​

Sofia Gonzalo
Sofia's journey with Blood Cancer United started over 20 years ago when her brother survived lymphoma. After interning with Blood Cancer United and graduating from Fordham University, she joined the organization full-time in 2022!

Melanie Johnson
Melanie's passion for our Mission and dedicated leadership are unmatched! Formerly the Executive Director of the North Florida region, Melanie is thrilled to now be leading the Georgia-South Carolina team!

Fun Fact: Melanie is a professional reader and reads over 200 books a year!

Mary Kate Abel
Mary Kate came to Blood Cancer United over 9 years ago, inspired by her close connections to blood cancer patients. As the former director of Student Visionaries, Mary Kate led her campaigns to raise over $6 million in 3 years!

Georgia-South Carolina Advancement Director
Sue Aldana
With over 40 years of experience, Sue has raised millions of dollars for non-profits. She has served as the Regional Advancement Director since joining Blood Cancer United in 2021.
