Mission Portfolio Opportunity
All Hero Award Winners are eligible to link their team's name with a cutting-edge, Blood Cancer United-funded mission portfolio in honor or memory of a loved one. Eligibility requires raising a minimum of $10,000.
Campaign Awards
At the SVOY Atlanta Grand Finale Celebration, multiple students and teams will receive elite recognition for everything from their leadership to how much they raised during their campaign. Our highest fundraising team will win the title "Student Visionaries of the Year." Our second highest fundraising team will be titled "Student Visionaries of the Year Runners Up." We will also highlight our Mission Pillar Award Winning Teams for their dedication to our Mission Pillars: Research, Patient Education & Support, and Policy & Advocacy.
Mission Pillar Awards
The 3 Mission Pillar Awards (Research, Patient Education & Support, and Policy & Advocacy) seek to reward those candidates who have advanced their efforts to cure blood cancers by making significant contributions through their campaigns. Overall, nominees will be judged on creativity, passion, reach, and leadership. Winners will be announced at the Grand Finale Celebration!
Grand Finale Tickets
There are many ways to receive tickets to our Grand Finale Celebration! Candidates and 2 caregivers automatically receive admission into the event. Team Members who achieve the $5K Club will receive 2 tickets to Grand Finale. Team Members that achieve our $10K+ Club will receive 3 tickets to Grand Finale. Candidate Teams who achieve Hall of Fame will also win extra tickets - 2 additional tickets for co-candidates of two and 3 additional tickets for co-candidates of three.
College Letter of Recommendation and Service Hours
All Candidates who complete the campaign and any Team Members who raise over $5K+ will receive a College Letter of Recommendation from our SVOY Campaign Director. Candidates who raise over $50,000+ will receive an additional Letter of Recommendation from our National CEO, Dr. Andy Kolb! Upon completion of the program, all Candidates and Team Members that raised over $5K+ will receive up to 50 service hours.
