Campaign Overview
Student Visionaries of the Year
Student Visionaries of the Year is a 7- week philanthropic leadership development program where students lead a team, set fundraising goals, partner with individuals and businesses in our community, and fundraise for blood cancer research.
Professional Development
Student Visionaries will have the opportunity to foster, develop and execute many Professional Development Skills over the course of the campaign! Our Students will learn how to network with individuals and businesses, present sponsorship opportunities to small and large businesses across the Atlanta area and, market their campaign to their network and connections.
Leadership Development
Student Visionaries also will learn and grow their leadership skills inside and outside of this campaign. Our students will be their teams' leaders and representatives, build a team of the most qualified individuals of all ages, partner with them to explore their network and connections to set them up for a successful campaign, and share their overall passion for LLS.
Fundraising
Student Visionaries are apart of something bigger- and that is to be the generation that cures blood cancer, once and for all. Our Students will learn all the key fundamentals to run a successful fundraiser - from sending out hundreds of customized letters and emails, exploring how to partner with local businesses to receive corporate sponsorships, and even finding auction items to represent their team at our Grand Finale Gala. The opportunities for learning are endless.
